I started out in illustration work in 1993 providing high detail pen & ink drawings for local community led council projects and have been involved ever since developing my traditional technique providing illustrations for the commercial sector as well as private commissions and educational charity projects in Pembrokeshire & West Wales. Other projects have taken me into the realms of colour working in oils, acrylics & watercolour, driftwood and glass painting. I enjoy exploring new ideas & welcome unusual projects and my work has been used on a wide variety of surfaces:- hand painted signs, furniture, suitcases and even the occasional car & van. Recycling has also played an important part in my craftware and I have always re-used otherwise redundant items as base materials where possible. I have been fortunate enough to live in Pembrokeshire all my life which has influenced what I do and allows me to work from a mobile studio - which proves to be a perfect source of natural light, wonderful views and a cuppa on hand once in a while! Other interests and influences include music, surfing (badly), walking, reading & the whims of a couple of classic cars in my care. Many thanks for reading Kes
